Inspired by Brazilian Beauty
The Brazilian woman already knew.
In Brazil, caring for the body is not vanity. It is culture.
Brazilian women have always treated the body as worthy of the same attention, the same ritual, the same ingredients, the same intention, that other cultures reserve only for the face. The full body is massaged, oiled, exfoliated, celebrated. Touch is not indulgent. It is normal. It is necessary.
Growing up Brazilian, I absorbed this without even realizing it. The smell of oils. The unhurried way of caring for skin after a shower. The understanding that your body deserves to feel good, not just look good, not just be functional, but actually feel nourished and alive.
Pele Boa+ was my answer to that absence.
Pele Boa means good skin in Portuguese. But in Brazil it means more than that, it means skin that is alive, skin that is cared for, skin that you inhabit with pride. It is not a beauty standard. It is a feeling.
That feeling is what I wanted to bring to every person who lights a Skin Candle. The warmth, the slowness, the touch, the Brazilian understanding that caring for your body is not extra. It is essential.
Good skin is full-body skin.
